EXECUTIVE – Industry Groups Management (1 position – Bdr Sri Damansara)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business  Administration, Communication or other related disciplines
  • 2 – 3  years of working experience
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Enjoy meeting people and writing business reports
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for providing technical and secretarial support for various Industry Groups:
    • FMM Malaysian Industrial Gases Manufacturers Group
    • Malaysian Petrochemical Association
    • Chemical Industries Council Malaysia
    • Malaysian Food Canners Association
  • To undertake industrial studies, trends and outlook and preparing memoranda on areas of principal responsibilities
  • Monitor and coordinate FMM’s position as well as industry groups’ position in various consultative panels, committees, working groups and for the building materials and packaging sectors
  • Monitor and disseminate information on government regulations, procedures, and incentives pertaining to areas of responsibilities
  • Provide support to FMM’s functions, activities and programs

EXECUTIVE – Membership & SMI (1 position – Bdr Sri Damansara)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing  or other related discipline
  • 1 – 2 years of working experience
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Good communication and writing skills
  • Team player and customer service oriented
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for membership recruitment, retention and visitation
  • Respond promptly to enquiries from potential members, collect membership forms, cheque and relevant documents from potential members
  • To process membership applications, resignations, transfer of membership and change of company’s name
  • Service the FMM Membership Committee and projects organised by the Committee e.g. FMM Excellence Award and FMM Icon Award
  • Plan and carry out seminars and activities on related areas to meet financial target
  • Conduct annual survey on FMM Members Satisfaction, analyse and draft the report of the survey findings
  • Membership database checks and proof read data for FMM Directory
  • Review/update the FMM Hotel Discount Scheme
  • Assist in creating and updating membership and marketing materials including flyers and emails

EXECUTIVE – Trade Fairs & Missions (1 position – Bdr Sri Damansara)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing  or any  related field
  • 1 – 2 years of working experience
  • Ability to speak and write in English and Chinese
  • Enjoy meeting people with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel overseas

Responsibilities:

  • Organise and coordinate the participation of FMM members and Malaysian companies in overseas Trade Fairs
  • Promote and market overseas Trade Fairs to Malaysian companies
  • Identify suitable fairs for member companies to participate
  • Negotiate with local and overseas fair organisers special rates for FMM members
  • Build-up database of potential exhibitors
  • Follow-up on the Market Development Grant claims for FMM and exhibitors
  • To service the One Belt One Road Task Force and to coordinate events and meetings for the benefit of the members of the task force
  • To assist the Head of Unit in any other activities beside Trade Fairs

EXECUTIVE of Membership Support / Credit Control – GS1 (1 position – Bdr Sri Damansara)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or other related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability to speak and write in other languages is an advantage
  • Good communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Team player, patient and customer service oriented
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for credit control, administration and financial matters of the GS1 Malaysia
  • To organise, plan and execute promotions and events
  • Visitations to new and current members
  • To conduct training and awareness programme
  • To verify and test GS1 barcodes
