The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers (FMM) has been authorised by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry to be the sole distributor of the Preferential Certificates of Origin (PCO).The PCOs are used to apply for preferential tariff reduction for products offered under the Free Trade Agreements between Malaysia and partner countries, provided the rules of origin are fulfilled. |

Generalised System of Preference (GSP)
- Trade document used to obtain reduced or duty free tariffs on eligible products exported by the preference receiving countries to markets of the preference giving countries on the general rates of duty normally applicable.
- Preference giving countries are Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Germany, Greece, Norway, Switzerland, Belarus, Russian Federation, Turkey, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuana, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and United Kingdom.

- Check if the product is included in the tariff reduction and elimination schedule.
- Comply with Rules of Origin by submitting application of cost analysis (CA) and preferential certificate of origin (PCO) through the Electronic Preferential Certificate of Origin (e-PCO) system.
- Other functions of e-PCO include:

2. Online enquiries of application status
The certifying authority for all the preferential certificates of origin is the Trade Cooperation and Industry Coordination Section of MITI. The services are also available at MITI branch offices in Penang, Johor, Kelantan, Perak, Pahang, Sabah and Sarawak.
