FMM Seminar on the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)

Malaysia together with Australia, Brunei Darussalam, Canada, Chile, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam signed the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) in Santiago, Chile on March 8, 2018.

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers’ (FMM) Seminar on the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) would be held on April 3, 2018 at Hilton Petaling Jaya from 9.00am to 2.30pm to provide manufacturers with:

  1. An understanding of the main elements of CPTPP and their impact on manufacturing;
  2. Information on export opportunities for Malaysian businesses in new markets.

YBhg Datuk Seri J. Jayasiri, the Secretary General of Ministry of International Trade and Industry Malaysia (MITI) is delivering the paper on CPTPP at the Seminar.

In addition, Their Excellencies, the Ambassadors of Canada, Mexico and Peru have been invited to highlight opportunities for Malaysian businesses in these new markets.
