Dato’ J Palaniappan, FMM Council member represented FMM at the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) Industry Productivity Forum (IPF) 2025, themed “Shaping the Future of Productivity Professionals in Malaysia.” held over two days from November 17-18, 2025 at the Royal Signature Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Dato’ J Palaniappan specifically participated in SESSION 3: MPC Certification Body (MPC-CB) Strategic Session With Industries: “Identifying New Competencies for the Future of Productivity Professionals" on November 18, 2025 where he shared insights on “Next-Generation Productivity in Manufacturing,” emphasising the urgent need for Malaysian manufacturers to align people, processes, and technology to stay competitive amid rapid digitalisation, ESG compliance pressures, and global supply chain shifts. He highlighted Industry 4.0 adoption trends, renewable energy readiness, and the critical role of Certified Productivity Specialists (CPS) in driving transformation, sustainability, and resilience. The future demands strategic capabilities in data analytics, digital integration, and ethical governance to position Malaysia for sustainable growth.
