FMM Council Swearing In Ceremony Highlights High Level Dialogue with YB Steven Sim on MSME Development and MoU Signing with Four Universities on Strengthening Industry–Academia Linkages

FMM held its Council Swearing-In Ceremony, witnessed by YB Tuan Steven Sim Chee Keong, Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development (KUSKOP), marking the formal commencement of the new Council’s term.
The event featured a high-level dialogue with the Minister on MSME development and long-term industrial competitiveness. FMM also launched its Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Pin, symbolising its commitment to embedding sustainability into business strategy and operations.
The Minister witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between FMM and four leading universities:
* Monash University Malaysia
* Sunway University
* UCSI University
* Universiti Sains Malaysia
The ceremony underscores FMM’s focus on strengthening industry leadership, public–private collaboration, and industry–academia linkages.
