FMM exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd at the Selangor Techsphere Summit.

FMM President, Tan Sri Dato’ Soh Thian Lai, exchanged the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siemens Malaysia Sdn Bhd, which was represented by its President and CEO, Mr. Tindaro Danze. The exchange took place during the Selangor Techsphere Summit 2025, held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on November 11, 2025.
Witnessing the exchange were: the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA), YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Bin Mohd Haji Yusof; the Selangor Chief Minister, YAB Dato’ Sri Amirudin Bin Shari; and the MBI Selangor Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato’ Ts. Saipolyazan M. Yusop.
This strategic partnership aims to promote smart manufacturing technology, knowledge sharing, and training collaborations between the two parties, specifically supporting the cooperation in transforming 3,000 factories into smart factories under NIMP 2030. Leveraging its global experience and success in the manufacturing sector, Siemens Malaysia will share its expertise in Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and the Internet of Things (IoT), ultimately supporting the industry’s digital transformation.
