Objectives of events:

To raise awareness and provide insights on building a future-ready manufacturing ecosystem in Johor by integrating Industry 4.0 technologies, ESG practices, and Halal-compliant supply chains.

With the objective build a future-ready manufacturing ecosystems, Johor manufacturers must embrace Industry 4.0 technologies, ESG practices, and robust Halal supply chain. By leveraging the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) and support from agencies such as MIDA and MATRADE, manufacturers can accelerate digitalisation, adopt clean energy solutions and strengthen Halal logistics. The program gathered more than 50 manufacturing industry participants and featured opening remarks by Ts. Dr. Nazri Yahya, FMM Johor Committee member. With guidance from Maybank Islamic's Halal Facilitation Program, which has supported 360 MSMEs since September 2023, the initiative highlighted how sustainable manufacturing and Halal compliance can enhance competitiveness and future-proof Johor's manufacturing sector.
