FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, together with FMM Vice-Presidents Dato’ Palaniappian Joseph and Ms Michelle Hah Mei Kian, and FMM CEO Datuk Dr Yeoh Oon Tean, received a courtesy call from Mr M. H. K. M. Hameez, Immediate Past President of the Sri Lanka–Malaysia Business Council, on January 13, 2026.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral trade and investment ties between Malaysia and Sri Lanka, as well as exploring potential collaboration with FMM for the upcoming Spice Route Sri Lanka 2026, scheduled to be held from July 24–25, 2026 in Kuala Lumpur. Discussions also touched on enhancing cooperation in the education sector and identifying opportunities for future collaboration to support women in business.
