FMM Delegation to SMATOF, October 28–31, 2025

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM) coordinated a delegation of 18 representatives from 11 companies to attend the Smart Factory & Manufacturing Technology Expo (SMATOF) in South Korea from October 28–31, 2025, held at the Changwon Convention Center. As a prominent biennial exhibition, SMATOF is one of the largest platforms showcasing smart factory solutions and advanced manufacturing technologies, connecting industry players across the smart production ecosystem.

The event aimed to present the latest innovations in manufacturing, facilitate business matching opportunities, and offer professional conferences and factory visits. The FMM delegation was led by Dr. Helena Eian Yuet Lan, Chair of the FMM Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Branch, who also delivered a speech during the welcome remarks and presented a token of appreciation to the event organiser, Gyeongsangnamdo. The delegation additionally had the opportunity to visit the Korea Electronics Technology Institute (KETI) which provided valuable insights into Korea’s latest innovations and advancements in smart manufacturing technologies.
