Initiation of Safeguard Investigation on Imports of Tinplate by Russia

On March4, 2026, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) initiated a safeguard investigation on imports of tinplate classified under the Common Commodity Nomenclature of Foreign Economic Activity of the Eurasian Economic Union HS code of 7210 12 200 01.

Interested parties may declare their intention to seek participant status no later than 25 days from the initiation of the investigation. Participants have the right to request access to the non-confidential file and participate in public hearings.
