HR Conference on “Strategizing towards Today’s Critical HR Challenges” on 12 June 2012 (Tuesday) at Park Avenue Hotel, Sungai Petani, Kedah.

May 14, 2012
Kedah / Perlis

The YAB Prime Minister on 30 April 2012 announced the much anticipated National Minimum Wage.  The minimum wage for private sector employees has been set at between RM800 (Sabah, Sarawak & FT Labuan) and RM900 per month (Peninsula Malaysia). This will take effect six (6) months FROM the date the Minimum Wage Order is gazetted (NOT YET GAZZETED).

A Special Committee has been formed to work out the standardized mechanism on the implementation of the minimum wage.
The Minimum Wage implementation would for sure become one of the most critical HR challenges in every organization today. This is a DONE DEAL! The question is how we are going to strategize towards the implementation.
