FMM's Strategic Network: Expanding Reach and Resilience

FMM actively extends its influence beyond Malaysian borders and industrial sectors through a robust and dynamic FMM Network. This network is strategically designed to provide our members with critical regional access, knowledge transfer, and enhanced supply chain resilience.

Regional Integration and Coordination
FMM has solidified its position as a key global industry player by signing 61 Memorandum of Understanding (MoUs) with partners spanning over 40 countries. This extensive network of international agreements underscores FMM's commitment to facilitating cross-border trade, attracting investment, and ensuring Malaysian manufacturers have access to global best practices, market intelligence, and collaborative opportunities across the world.

ASEAN Manufacturing Network (AMN)
Central to our regional commitment is our active participation in the ASEAN Manufacturing Network (AMN), focusing on harmonizing industrial standards and promoting cross-border manufacturing opportunities. This platform ensures our members are fully integrated into the regional economic landscape.

Collaboration with Local Government and Agencies
FMM maintains critical and proactive ties with local Government Ministries and Agencies to ensure the manufacturing sector's voice is heard and its needs are met at the national level. Through continuous dialogue and strategic agreements, we work directly with key bodies responsible for investment, trade, human capital development, policy-making, and regulatory compliance. These partnerships facilitate streamlined access to essential services, funding, incentives, and technical assistance, ensuring that FMM members remain aligned with national industrial priorities and can effectively navigate the domestic operating environment. Government-Industry TVET Coordination Body (GITC) Network
The Government-Industry TVET Coordination Body (GITC) is a collaborative platform established to bridge the gap between the needs of industries and the education provided by Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions in Malaysia.

GITC is a non-profit private sector, funded by the Government, comprising 16 representatives from the Government, industries, and trade union. GITC is tasked to gather information, provide insights for policy considerations, and champion a dynamic and responsive TVET ecosystem that equips graduates with the skills and knowledge demanded by industries.
