On January 29, 2026, The Selangor State Government declared Sunday, October 25, 2026, as a public holiday in Selangor in conjunction with the Silver Jubilee Celebration commemorating the 25th Anniversary of the Reign of His Royal Highness (HRH) the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah Alhaj.
The holiday is declared under Section 9(1) of the Holidays Act 1951 (Act 369).
This advisory is issued for the reference and guidance of FMM members in relation to the declaration of October 25, 2026 as a special public holiday in Selangor.
