Initiation of Safeguard Investigation on Imports of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) Chips by Türkiye

On July 11, 2026, the Directorate General for Imports, Department of Safeguards, Ministry of Trade, Türkiye initiated a safeguard investigation on imports polyethylene terephthalate (PET) chips.  The products under investigation are classified under Turkish Customs Tariff Positions 3907.69.00.00.00.

In this regard, interested parties are advised to submit the completed questionnaire within 30 days from the date of initiation of the investigation.
