1. Finance Manager 
Type of Vacancy: Permanent 

Job Description 

MM Century Sdn Bhd, a Waste Management company in Penang, is seeking a Finance 
Manager to oversee financial operations including budgeting, financial reporting, 
cash flow management and statutory compliance. Key duties: oversee day-to-day 
finance/accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger, bank reconciliations); prepare 
accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements across multiple 
branches/subsidiaries; develop and monitor budgets, forecasts and cash flow 
projections; ensure compliance with statutory requirements (income tax, SST, 
Companies Act) and liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary; 
implement and maintain internal controls and financial policies; manage costing and 
profitability analysis; provide financial insights for strategic decisions; liaise with 
banks on financing and cash management; supervise and develop the finance team; 
ensure proper documentation for audit; assist in implementing new finance software.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, 
budgeting/forecasting and cost accounting. Strong analytical and problem-solving 
skills, leadership and team management, negotiation, and proficiency in accounting 
software and Excel. High integrity, detail-oriented, results-driven, able to work under 
pressure and meet deadlines.

Requirement   

Minimum qualification of Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; 
professional certification an added advantage. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant 
finance/accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role. Experience 
in manufacturing, waste management or related industries is an added advantage.


2. Sales Manager  
Type of Vacancy: Permanent 

Job Description 

MM Century Sdn Bhd, a Waste Management company in Penang, is seeking a Sales 
Manager to lead the sales team in generating revenue from e-waste, ITAD equipment 
and refurbished materials. Key duties: develop and execute sales plans/targets; lead, 
coach and manage the sales team to meet KPIs; apply material evaluation/grading 
(functional testing, component/commodity assessment, weight- vs unit-based 
valuation) for accurate pricing; prepare quotations, buy-back offers and commercial 
proposals; negotiate pricing with scrap buyers and refurbishment partners; monitor 
scrap/commodity market prices and resale values to guide pricing strategy; manage 
and grow client/buyer/downstream partner relationships; coordinate with operations 
for material assessment and grading; ensure compliance with environmental and data 
security regulations; resolve escalated valuation/grading disputes; prepare sales and 
material recovery performance reports.

Strong knowledge of e-waste/ITAD/refurbishment material evaluation and grading, 
scrap and commodity market pricing (ferrous/non-ferrous metals, plastics, precious 
metals), and data security/destruction standards. Skilled in team leadership and 
coaching, pricing negotiation, target-driven planning, communication/presentation, 
and critical material valuation. Proactive, resilient, customer-focused and detail
oriented.

Requirement   
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Management 
or related field. Minimum 5-7 years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in a 
supervisory/managerial role. Experience in e-waste, ITAD, scrap/recycling or 
refurbished IT/electronics trading is a must.
