Courtesy Call by His Excellency Dharshana Mahendra Perera, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia on August 10, 2026

FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, accompanied by FMM Deputy President Dato Andrew Goh Boon Kim, FMM Vice President Datuk Noraini Binti Soltan, Chairman of FMM Selangor and Kuala Lumpur Branch Dr Helena Eian Yeut Lan and FMM CEO Datuk Dr Yeoh Oon Tean, received a courtesy call by His Excellency Dharshana Mahendra Perera, High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Malaysia on August 10, 2026. 

The discussion focused on strengthening Malaysia–Sri Lanka bilateral trade and economic cooperation. The High Commissioner also introduced the upcoming Sri Lanka Economic & Investment Summit 2026, scheduled for October 12–13, 2026, and highlighted Sri Lanka Expo 2027, taking place from January 14–17, 2027, at BMICH, Colombo, as a key trade and investment event. FMM was invited to bring a business delegation to participate in the events and explore trade, investment, business matching and potential business partnerships with Sri Lankan companies.
