FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, together with FMM President Emeritus Tan Sri Dato’ (Dr) Soh Thian Lai and FMM Deputy President Dato’ Andrew Goh Boon Kim received a courtesy call from Mr Zaw Min Win, Senior Adviser to the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI) and the Japanese delegation, accompanied by Datuk Lim Hong Yeu, National Council Member of the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Malaysia (ACCCIM) on August 12, 2026.

The discussion explored opportunities to strengthen bilateral business collaboration and facilitate the proposed export of Japanese Wagyu beef to Malaysia, including Halal certification requirements, regulatory compliance and market entry considerations.
