FMM President Delivers Remarks at Malaysia–Taiwan Industrial Collaboration Summit on September 22, 2026

FMM President Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok delivered remarks at the Malaysia–Taiwan Industrial Collaboration Summit held on September 22, 2026, at Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral, together with Mr Benny T. Hu, Executive Director of the Chinese National Federation of Industries (CNFI). The Summit was graced by Dr Lien Yu Ping, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in Malaysia.

Mr Jacob and Mr Benny also jointly officiated the opening ceremony of the Summit. Marking the 10th anniversary of Malaysia–Taiwan industrial collaboration, the Summit focused on strengthening bilateral industrial cooperation and promoting greater business linkages between the two sides.

The programme featured three key Industry Group Forums, namely the Textile, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical and Smart City, providing a platform for industry representatives to exchange views, share insights and explore potential areas for collaboration.

The Summit further reaffirmed the commitment of FMM and CNFI to deepen industry-to-industry cooperation and create more opportunities for Malaysian and Taiwanese businesses to collaborate across key sectors.
