FMM Mastering Malaysian Import, Export, Customs Documentation & Procedures

This comprehensive programme is designed to provide participants with a practical understanding of the key requirements governing import and export activities in Malaysia. Participants will explore essential shipping documentation and procedures, customs regulations and duties, import/export controls and licensing requirements, as well as the various customs facilities, incentives and trade facilitation schemes available to businesses. The programme will also cover important areas such as Bonded Warehouses, Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), Free Zones, Licensed Manufacturing Warehouses (LMW), Authorised Economic Operator (AEO), ASEAN Customs Transit System (ACTS), drawback facilities and Customs Rulings. Group work and case studies will further enable participants to apply their knowledge to real-world import and export situations.

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:
• Understand key shipping documentation and import & export procedures. 
• Identify customs controls, prohibitions, licensing requirements, duties and SST applicable to import/export activities. 
• Gain knowledge of customs incentives, facilities and trade facilitation schemes, including Bonded Warehouses, FTAs, Free Zones, LMW, AEO, ACTS, drawback and Customs Rulings. 
• Understand key contracts, cargo insurance and shipping requirements in international trade. 
• Apply the knowledge gained through practical group work and case studies.
