Head Office, KL

The Prime Minister’s Hibiscus Award (PMHA) 2024/2025, co-organised by FMM, MICCI, and ENSEARCH, officially concluded with the Award Presentation Ceremony held on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, at One World Hotel.

The ceremony was graced by the Guest of Honour, YB Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability (NRES), Dato’ Seri Arthur Joseph Kurup, who presented the Challenge Trophy to Daikin Malaysia Sdn Bhd, an FMM member, which emerged as the overall winner of the 2024/2025 award cycle.

FMM President, Mr Jacob Lee Chor Kok, also presented several awards to the award recipients alongside MICCI President, Ms Christina Tee, and ENSEARCH President, Encik Mohammad Siraj Abdul Razack.

The 2024/2025 award cycle marked a historic milestone for PMHA, recording 81 participating companies, the highest number since the Award’s inception. Notably, the cycle saw increased participation from small and medium enterprises (SMEs), reflecting a growing commitment among Malaysian companies to subject their environmental practices to rigorous assessment and to align with evolving sustainability and ESG expectations.

Submissions during this cycle represented a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, energy, construction and engineering, hospitality, oil palm plantation, as well as continued participation from traditionally higher-impact sectors such as oil and gas. This diversity underscores the importance of an economy-wide approach to environmental management.

Other FMM members who were award recipients were:
