FMM Delegation to CHINAPLAS 2026 from April 21-24, 2026

The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM) successfully coordinated a delegation of 65 participants from 35 companies to visit CHINAPLAS 2026, from April 21-24, held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai, China. The delegation joined by Dato' Andrew Goh Boon Kim, Deputy President of FMM, and Mr Liaw Hen Kong, Chairman of FMM Sabah Branch.
As one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the plastics and rubber industries, CHINAPLAS showcases the latest innovations in advanced materials, smart manufacturing, automation, and sustainable solutions. The exhibition provided valuable insights for delegates to explore emerging trends, discover new technologies, and identify potential business opportunities.
In addition, delegates attended a networking hi-tea session hosted by Altios China and Standard Chartered, where they gained useful insights on China market access, regulatory considerations, and expansion strategies.
The programme also included a factory visit to Tederic Machinery Co., Ltd., a leading China-based manufacturer of injection molding machines and smart manufacturing solutions for the plastics industry, serving sectors such as automotive, packaging, electronics, and industrial applications. Delegates were exposed to advanced injection moulding technologies, smart manufacturing practices, and Industry 4.0 applications, providing practical insights into enhancing productivity and operational efficiency.
