FMM–SOCSO Seminar on Mental Health

This programme is organised to enhance employers’ and employees’ understanding of the importance of mental health and psychological wellbeing in the workplace, including stress management, work-life balance, and early intervention approaches to prevent psychosocial-related issues. Participants will also be exposed to practical workplace scenarios, case studies, and interactive discussions aimed at strengthening awareness and improving workplace mental health practices. By the end of the programme, participants are expected to be able to identify common workplace stress factors and explore suitable action plans for creating a healthier, safer, and more supportive working environment within their respective organisations.

By the end of this programme, participants will be able to:

• Enhance awareness on the importance of mental health in the workplace and its relation to employees’ safety, wellbeing, and productivity.
• Identify early signs of stress, burnout, and psychosocial issues among employees.
• Understand practical intervention approaches and basic psychological support initiatives that can be implemented at the workplace level.
• Gain better understanding of the role of Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) in preventing work-related psychosocial risks and strengthening employees’ social wellbeing and mental resilience.
